Consultations on the Youth20 (Y20) themes

On 2 and 3 July 2021, the Young Ambassador Society held the first official consultations for Italian and international youth associations engaged in issues relating to Y20 priority areas.

The topics of discussion at the Y20 Italy 2021 are in line with the priorities dictated by the G20 Italian Presidency, with particular attention to the issues on which youth can provide a concrete contribution and which directly concern them. Specifically, along with the context of education as the common thread, the three macro areas of the Y20 Italy 2021 are:

1. Innovation, digitization and the future of work,
2. Sustainability, climate and energy,
3. Inclusion and equal opportunities.

There are various ways to get involved, namely:

– Y20 SURVEY. Available both in Italian and English, an official survey was carried out to gather input from youth on the three Y20 priority areas.

– SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST. All young people who want to share their ideas at the Y20 can send a short video with their policy proposal on one or more priority areas. Creators of the most relevant and inspiring ideas will get the chance to present them at the Y20 Summit and their videos will be shared on the Y20 social media channels.
